Carey and Guillermo tied the knot on December 30, 2022.
Carey looked lovely in a dramatic strapless trumpet gown with a train and an oversized bow on the back. She accessorized with elbow-length white gloves and a hip-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of white and pink roses. Her eight bridesmaids wore full-length, light pink, halter-neck satin dresses. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Guillermo got married in a black tuxedo with a white vest, white shirt, black bow tie, white pocket square, and white rose boutonniere. His eight groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black vests, white shirts, black bow ties, white pocket squares, and white rose boutonnieres.
In the outdoor ceremony, there was a reading from Scripture and a prayer of blessing.
Next, attendees sat down to a meal of caprese salad; sliced beef tenderloin; grilled Atlantic salmon; creamy mashed potatoes; and sweet ginger-glazed carrots. The signature cocktail, the Fizzy Flores, was made with vodka, cranberry juice, Sprite, and club soda, with a rosemary sprig.
During the speeches, the maid of honor, the bride’s cousin, talked about growing up with Carey and how they are practically sisters. The best man spoke about Guillermo’s stages of life and how his life changed when he met Carey.
Guillermo and Carey’s first dance as man and wife was to “Perfect Symphony” by Ed Sheeran and Andrea Bocelli. Carey and her father danced to “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion. Guillermo and his mother danced to “Como Te Pago” by Lenier.
Each layer of the four-tier white wedding cake was decorated with a lace ribbon and topped with roses.
The newlyweds left their wedding under the signature sparkler exit.
We wish them all the best in their beautiful new life together!
