Alfred and Abigail became man and wife on March 6, 2023.
Abigail dazzled in a column gown with long peasant sleeves, a V neckline, and a long train. Her accessories included drop earrings and a pearl necklace. She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies. Her three bridesmaids wore matching full-length red dresses with fluttery short sleeves and V necklines. They carried bouquets of assorted roses.
Alfred got married in a gray jacket with black lapels, black trousers, white shirt, black bow tie, and calla lily boutonniere. His three groomsmen wore black tuxedos with white shirts, red ties, black pocket squares and mini bouquet boutonnieres.
A string quartet played during the outdoor ceremony, which was officiated by Alfred’s father. The guests rang bells after the ceremony.
Next, guests sat down to a meal of salad with cucumber, mandarin orange, berries, feta, walnuts, and raspberry vinaigratte; assorted grilled vegetables; tortellini primavera; filet mignon; and caprese chicken. The signature cocktails were scotch neat and a French kiss.
During the toasts, the maid of honor told stories about her friendship with the bride; the best man said that the groom was a great friend and mentor; and the bride’s father thanked everyone for coming and talked about the bride’s accomplishments.
Abigail and Alfred’s first dance was to “Love Reign O’er Me” by The Who. Abigail and her father danced to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole. Alfred and his mother danced to “Mom” by Garth Brooks.
The three-tier wedding cake was done in a white ribbon frosting design. It was decorated with roses and topped with an “I Love You/I Know” ornament.
The newlyweds left their special day under the signature sparkler sendoff.
We wish them a long and happy life together!
