Alexis and Stephen tied the knot on January 14, 2024.
Alexis looked gorgeous in a romantic off-the-shoulder ballgown with full see-through sleeves. Her accessories included a hip-length veil, drop earrings and a lariat necklace. Her bouquet included white flowers, pinecones and assorted greenery. Her four bridesmaids wore full-length hunter green dresses. They carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Stephen got married in a cream-colored long coat with black trousers, silver vest, white shirt, silver bow tie and a boutonniere featuring plants and a pinecone. His five groomsmen wore black tuxedos with green vests, white shirts, green bow ties and boutonnieres.
After a morning indoor ceremony, guests enjoyed a brunch buffet that included scrambled eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, and cheese blintzes with fruit topping.
In the speeches, the father of the bride told jokes and talked about Alexis’s childhood. Stephen’s mother thanked the guests for coming. The bride and groom expressed their gratitude to all the guests, and the maid of honor and the sister of the bride spoke as well. There was also an open mic so any of the guests could congratulate the newlyweds.
Alexis and Stephen’s first dance as a married couple was to “Truly, Madly, Deeply” by Savage Garden. Alexis and her father danced to “Daddy’s Little Girl” by Ernie Halter. Stephen and his mother danced to “A Song for My Son” by Mikki Viereck.
Other wedding fun included a photobooth and live painting.
There were three two-tier wedding cakes, each with a different look and different flavor.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
