Villa Siena welcomed Kimberly and Chad through our gates for their wedding ceremony and reception March 15, 2013. The couple originally met at a bar Kimberly worked at. That first attraction sparked into love and now a life together.

Kimberly was gorgeous in a fitted mermaid style dress with soft ruffles flouncing out at the bottom. Her long blonde hair hung in loose curls with a lace and  embroidered veil over it during the ceremony. Dangling diamond earrings, a diamond necklace and diamond bracelet accompanied the look. The bride’s bouquet was filled with dusty pink and bright pink roses with crystals in the center of each rose. In the bride’s dressing room, two monkeys holding hands with hearts on their feet exemplified the simple beauty of love.

The bridesmaids wore pink above-the-knee dresses with a single strap of flowers over the shoulder. Each bridesmaid wore a different style of silver shoe. They carried yellow rose bouquets.

To start the ceremony, Chad took his place at the altar with his groomsmen. Chad wore a grey tuxedo with white shirt and black tie. His groomsmen matched the bridesmaids with pink paisley vests and ties. The best man wore a traditional tuxedo with bowtie. To announce the bride, the flower girl made her way down the aisle in a yellow dress, carrying a sign saying, ‘Chad, here comes your girl.’ The altar was lit with pink and white candles. The couple performed a sand ceremony to signify their lives joining as one.

There were lots of sweets for the guests from the wedding cake with a University of Arizona logo and red, blue and white stripes to lemon vanilla, red velvet and white chocolate with raspberry mousse cupcakes. Each cupcake had the couple’s initials on them. Instead of individual favors, the couple set up a candy table with pink and yellow candies.

The best man, and older brother of the groom, offered sound advice during his toast such as ‘never miss an anniversary’ and ‘Kim will always need more clothes and shoes.’ The maid of honor told timeless stories about growing up with her sister, Kimberly.
