Daisy & Nelson ~ June 30, 2013

June 30, 2013 Daisy and Nelson brought their style and beauty to Villa Siena for their wedding ceremony and reception. The couple chose an indoor wedding ceremony.

Guests were seated, but tulle tied in a bow prevented anyone from walking down the aisle until the bridal party announced the beginning of the ceremony. Nelson waited for his bride in a black tuxedo with white shirt, tie and vest. His groomsmen wore black tuxedos with lilac vests and ties and red roses in their lapels.

The bridesmaids were adorned in black silk dresses with belted waists. Daisy looked amazing in a gown with lace overlay and sweet heart neckline. Lace continued through the dress to below the hip where the gown flared out into a satin mermaid style finish. The bride’s hair was pulled tight and twisted into the shape of a bow. A veil with lace edging was worn for the ceremony and perfectly matched and accented her dress. Afterwards the bridesmaids kicked off their shoes and the bride left her veil behind for the reception.

The couple danced their first song to Etta James’ At Last. During the dance the bride’s family joined them, then the groom’s family. To brighten the night the groom’s brother led the groomsmen in a choreographed lip synch of I Am Beautiful by Christina Aguilera. The night was filled with fun games including the newlywed shoe game and anniversary dance.

During the reception the couple had a private table. After dancing, cake followed. Their three-tiered cake combined marble with cream cheese frosting, marble lemon/strawberry with white chocolate mousse and white cake with custard, fresh strawberries, fresh raspberries trimmed with purple/red ribbon and roses. Favors were mini boxes filled with candy that doubled as place cards with tags on each box.

Centerpieces were vases of varying sizes wrapped with lace and ribbon with candles atop mirrors.

Before leaving for their signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell, the couple had a prayer circle then hugged each guest individually.

Congratulations Daisy & Nelson. May your beautiful energies envelop you both throughout your lives.
