Villa Siena welcomed Kristin and Spencer to our grounds August 10, 2013 for their wedding reception. The couple met at Bringham Young University. They chose to have an open reception, meaning guests were welcome to come and go as desired throughout the night.
When guests entered the Villa they were greeted with pictures of the bride and groom at the entrance. The couple used pictures of themselves throughout their relationship to decorate the ballroom and even the appetizer table. On the dining tables tall standing and tabletop vases alternated with lush bouquets of roses and hydrangeas.
Kristin looked beautiful in a gorgeous gown with high neckline and sheer short sleeves. Her dress boasted an empire waist with a train. A belt further defined the empire waist. Kristin’s hair was worn up with a veil. The bride’s bouquet was filled with pink and white roses and hydrangeas. Bridesmaids wore mint green jackets with petal pink blouses and knee-length black skirts and heels.
Spencer chose a black tuxedo with black tie. His groomsmen wore black tuxedos with pink ties and white shirts.
Sweets included white chocolate covered strawberries, a four-tiered wedding cake with a fondant flower that spanned all four tiers of the cake, and cookies, which along with bubbles, were guest favors.
Before leaving as man and wife to start their new life together, the couple changed into more casual clothing. As they left the villa, guests blew bubbles, filling the air with sparkles.
Congratulations Kristin and Spencer. May your life and love together sparkle with love, laughter and tenderness. We wish you the best.
