Andrea & Darren ~ October 6, 2013

October 6, 2013, Andrea and Darren arrived at Villa Siena to celebrate their love with friends and family. Darren and his groomsmen waited at the altar, which was decorated with vases of pale pink and white roses, alternating with candles on marble stands. A wrought iron S sat in the middle. The men looked dashing in grey tuxedos with white shirts. The groom stood out with a white tie, while the groomsmen wore grey ties. All had roses in their lapels.

As to be expected, all eyes turned towards the Villa as the two flower girls began sprinkling the white runner with pink and white flower petals for the bride’s walk to her groom. Andrea wore a mermaid style dress with a fitted lace bodice embellished with beading and sequins and tulle flair. Her shoes were white satin with bows on them. For a bouquet, pale pink roses surrounded by peach and ivory matched the bridesmaid’s dresses of pink strapless chiffon. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of baby’s breath, which added a light, delicate feel.

The couple lit a unity candle and performed a sand ceremony to unite their separate lives into one.

A soft, rustic look was used throughout the day. The guest welcome table was filled with the couple’s love story, sorted by important dates in their relationship and a picture of the couple. At the reception, vases of roses were wrapped with raw string and tied with ivory lace. Table numbers were found on wine bottles on each table.

For favors, guests were invited to indulge in a little S’more love, at a table that held all the fixings for S’mores. The wedding cake offered an antique elegance with the top layer decorated in strings of sugar pearls with sugar flowers on top. The middle layer was very clean and simple with the couple’s initials, while the bottom tier was embossed with a floral design.

To celebrate the couple, the bridesmaid, maid of honor and both sisters gave speeches. The couple took to the dance floor for their first dance as a married couple to Marry Me by Train.
Congratulations Andrea & Darren. May the sands of time build a castle for you to share your love in. We wish you the best.
