Sara & Jose ~ November 17, 2013

Soft and bright might be the best way to describe Sara and Jose’s wedding at Villa Siena. Married November 17, 2013, the couple had friends and family close by to witness their wedding vows and celebrate their love afterwards.

Sara’s smile shone throughout the day. Her gown was strapless with rouching and a drop waist. A ruffled skirt finished the look. Asymmetrical crystal detailing on the dress complimented the bride’s veil that was edged with crystal beads. Underneath the skirt was a hidden splash of color with orange stilettos. Sara’s bouquet was filed with soft ivory and pale pink roses. Attached to the ribbon winding around the bouquet were miniature pictures of family members. The bridesmaids wore elegant grey strapless gowns that flowed to their ankles. In contrast to the bride’s bouquet the bridesmaids carried an assortment of bright pink and yellow roses.

Jose wore a black tuxedo with white shirt and black tie. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with coral ties and vests, adding a pop of color. Down the aisle of the villa were orange, yellow and white rose petals that also floated in the fountain, bringing a soft, yet colorful arrangement to the day.

As the wedding started the groom’s nephew carried a sign saying “Uncle David, here comes your girl” along with the wedding rings. The mother of the groom catered the event. Everyone looked forward to the meal, as Jose’s mother owns an Italian restaurant in Scottsdale.

The couple’s first dance was to Jason Mraz’s I Won’t Give Up.

Favors were small picture frames with Thank You’s and candy favors. There was a candy table set up for those needing a sweet treat. The wedding cake was four tiers. Each tier was wrapped simply with grey lace. Fresh flowers topped the cake and cascaded down the layers.

As the couple embarked on their new life together, they enjoyed a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell.

Congratulations Sara and Jose. May your life with the brightness and sweetness of the rose. We wish you the best.
