Imani and Peter proclaimed their love for one another November 17, 2013. The couple joined us at Villa Siena for their wedding ceremony. Throughout the day both the bride and groom were filled with smiles as bright as the Arizona sun.
For the celebration, Imani wore a gown with lace shoulder straps. Beaded detailing sparkled across the bust flowing into an A-line skirt with simple lace detailing. A sapphire necklace finished the look. The bride’s veil had lace detailing and crystals. Imani’s bouquet featured blue orchids. Peter, for the big day, wore a black tuxedo with white shirt and tie. In his boutonniere rested a blue calla lily.
As Imani began her walk down the aisle, toward her future husband, Paramore’s the Only Exception played. Imani was escorted down the aisle by her mother. During the ceremony the couple exchanged roses that represented the giving and receiving sides of marriage as well as a symbol of making amends and forgiveness during tough times. The best man for the ceremony was the groom’s seven-year-old nephew.
