Thank goodness for Andrew’s sister who introduced the couple. Andrew pretended he was looking to buy a refrigerator but was really just looking for a date. His ploy worked and the couple married March 14, 2014.
For the spring wedding, Jackie’s strapless wedding gown was fitted with folded layers of material before flaring out into a mermaid style finish. A satin belt tied in a bow in back. Jewelry included a diamond necklace that complemented the dress. For shoes, Jackie chose open-toed heels. The bridal bouquet brought together red roses, orange calla lilies and berries.
During their celebration, Andrew wore a black tuxedo with light colored tie and vest. The couple opted for an intimate bridal party. Each of the bridesmaids wore a floor-length gown with empire waist, one in coral and one in burgundy. Likewise the groomsmen wore black tuxedos, one with a coral vest and one with a burgundy vest.
During the ceremony the couple locked a box that contained letters to each other, a bottle of wine and two glasses to be opened on their first anniversary.
At the reception, the couple took to the dance floor to Make You Feel My Love by Garth Brooks. Afterwards Jackie and her father danced to Life’s a Dance by John Michael Montgomery before Andrew and his mother danced to In My Life by the Beatles.
After dancing, cake was served. Three tiers alternated two square tiers and one round tier. The middle layer was frosted to look like roses. A monogrammed H sat on top.
Red up-lighting filled the reception room as the couple honored their family members who traveled to be there. The anniversary dance to Endless Love by Lionel Ritchie celebrated the couple that had been together the longest.
Favors were individually wrapped chocolate truffles in white boxes.
Congratulations Jackie and Andrew. We hope your life together is filled the respect and fun you shared with your guests on your wedding day. We wish you the best.
