May 16, 2014 Samantha and Jordan were married at Villa Siena. The couple were friends in high school, then reconnected a few years later. The connection lasted. In order to reaffirm their love long after they were married, the couple set up a love box. The box had the couple’s names engraved in the wood. Inside letters from friends and family were placed. Although the letters are intended to be opened at the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary, they also allowed that they could be opened after a big fight.
Samantha chose a clean, classic style of dress for her wedding day. The strapless satin gown was fitted with a diamond belt and mermaid flair. A cathedral length veil flowed behind the dress allowing for a glimpse of the satin covered buttons that ran the length of the dress. The bride’s hair was worn back with diamond drop earrings. Next to Samantha, her bridesmaids wore deep purple gowns with rouching across the top. Both the bride and bridesmaids carried similar bouquets with a mix of purple and white flowers. For the wedding day, Jordan wore a black tuxedo with black bow-tie and white shirt, as did his groomsmen.
Framed pictures of the couple adorned the welcome table. Both the ceremony and reception were held indoors. For the ceremony white rose petals lined the aisle with a floral bouquet resting on top of the fireplace. A live quartet entertained guests. In order to enjoy the cocktail hour and spend more time with friends and family, the bridal party had pictures taken prior to the ceremony.
At the reception, purple up-lighting glowed. Tables were set with gold linens and plates, while the married couple sat at a table of their own with a red sequined tablecloth. The bride’s father’s speech brought tears to her eyes, while the first dance to La Vie En Rose by Louis Armstrong brought back her smiles.
The wedding cake offered three tiers with a paisley design. On top fresh white and purple flowers, including orchids, rested. The night ended with a traditional sparkler farewell.
Congratulations Samantha and Jordan. May the luck that brought the two of you back together be with you always. We wish you the best.
