June 7, 2014 Jelena and Bill sealed their love for one another at Villa Siena. Knowing they were a perfect match, Bill proposed New Year’s Eve.
For the ceremony the couple chose a purple and white color scheme, which ran from the purple flower petals delicately sprinkled down the white runner by the flower girl to the bridesmaid’s dresses, which came to the knee, paired with white heels. The groomsmen wore dark grey tuxedos with purple ties and purple vests. The boys that participated in the ceremony wore light purple suits. Bill wore a dark grey tuxedo with white vest, purple tie and white handkerchief. His cufflinks ere engraved with the words Today I marry my best friend.
The bride wore a strapless gown with beaded detailing at the waist and pin tucks throughout the skirt. Her hair was worn in an up-do with a beaded tulle veil. The bridal bouquet was filled with roses.
To announce the beginning of the wedding, the ring bearer carried a sign saying Uncle Billy, Here comes ur girl. The exchanging of vows included a wine ceremony with the bride’s three daughters and the groom’s two daughters. It was truly a family affair.
The reception was filled with small personal details that included purple chair ties and purple tablecloths. Each table had candleholders with quotes on them. The wedded couple’s champagne glasses were decorated with a wedding dress on one and a tuxedo on the other. Of all the personalized details of the day, the wedding cake was the most unique. Bridges connected four tiers of cake with angels and a couple on the first tear. The saying All of me loves all of you decorated another tier, while a castle sat on the highest tier with a chocolate fountain below.
The first dance was to I Promise You by Ronan Keating. Jelena danced the first dance with her father-in-law since her father passed away.
Favors were boxes and bags to fill up at the candy bar that offered delectable treats in purple and white.
Congratulations Jelena and Bill. May your days be filled with love and laughter. We wish you the best.
