Rachel and Peter met through friends at a restaurant. Over the course of many dates the couple fell in love. They were married at Villa Siena June 14, 2014.
The bride wore a custom made dress of champagne silk designed to fit her figure. The dress had a wide silk band with rouching underneath and came down into simple, clean lines with a flair at the bottom. She wore a diamond brooch and diamond earrings. Her hair was swept into an up-do. The bridal bouquet combined white orchids with pink roses and greenery. Peter chose a black tuxedo with champagne colored tie and white shirt and vest to match his bride.
Both the bridesmaids and groomsmen were given freedom with what to wear, and the three bridesmaids all wore dresses that suited their individual personalities while the groomsmen wore ties in shades that suited them.
During the ceremony, the couple’s good friend sang for them. At the reception Rachel’s daughter gave a lighthearted speech that had everyone laughing. She welcomed Peter to the family as her father and asked him if he could handle three wild ladies in his life.
The couple danced their first dance to Chante Moore and Kenny Lattimore’s When I Say I Do.
Tables were adorned with tall-standing vases overflowing with white and light pink roses, lilies and hydrangeas. For a wedding cake, three tiers of white frosting were criss-crossed with strands of colored fondant.
The couple seemed perfectly enchanted with one another. Congratulations Rachel and Peter. May your days remain enchanted and your love continue to flourish day by day. We wish you the best.
