Christine and Kris welcomed guests to their wedding ceremony at Villa Siena October 2, 2014. As family and friends arrived they were invited to stop at the welcome table, pick up a feathered pen and answer a question or two or draw what they thought the couple’s kids might look like, offer ideas for the couple and more.

The couple decided upon an intimate ceremony with only those closest to them invited. As Christine began her walk down a white runner lined with lavender rose petals, all eyes were on her. The bride wore a wedding gown with straps that came to a V in the back. The gown began with an empire waist that transitioned to a fitted embroidered bodice to the hips then flowed out into a traditional skirt with light embroidered detailing. A cathedral length veil, pearl pendant and pearl earrings accessorized the ensemble. To reflect the changing of the seasons and the rich colors of fall, Christine’s bridesmaids were dressed in royal purple gowns that mimicked the neckline of the bride’s wedding gown. While the bridesmaids carried bouquets of white roses with greenery and berries, the bridal bouquet stood out by combining purple, red, lavender and white assorted flowers.

As Christine approached the altar, which was lit up with white candles, her groom stepped forward to meet her. Kris wore a grey tuxedo with grey vest, white striped tie and white shirt. His groomsmen were also in grey tuxedos with satin piping but wore striped purple ties and white shirts. The ceremony was perfect. The officiant spoke of faith, hope and love as the couple held three braided gold cords that were a gift to represent their two hearts and joining love.

After the ceremony guests headed to Brio for dinner and a celebration. Congratulations Christine and Kris. May each day together weave a tapestry of love and joy. We wish you the best.
