Guests to Villa Siena on February 7,2015 were greeted with framed pictures of Lauren and Colton as well as their parents at their wedding. Bottles that had been wrapped in grey and white twine also accented the table. The outdoor wedding ceremony featured a white runner with rose petals strewn along the sides. A rose garland was laid across the altar.  Lauren and Colton were married by their friend, who served as officiant for the wedding. As part of the ceremony the couple lit a unity candle, which was surrounded by fresh white and pink roses and hydrangeas.

The bride wore a designer gown with layers of lace and a silver ribbon that tied around the waist and finished in a silver bow that trailed down the back of her gown. Lauren’s shoes were open-toed with chunky diamond accents down the front. Her bouquet of blush and ivory roses were accented with greenery and baby’s breath. The bridesmaids had the same style of bouquet as the bride’s. The bridesmaids wore strapless charcoal dresses with empire waists, which perfectly complimented the groomsmen who wore black tuxedos and vests.

After dinner was served, an impressive four-tiered wedding cake was served. Each tier was wrapped with pearl beading, while fresh pink and white roses on top and the couple’s monogram was displayed on the second tier.

As a testament to lasting friendships, the maid of honor, who has been friends with Lauren for twenty years, shared childhood memories with Lauren’s friends and family and told them she had never seen the bride so happy. The best man and older brother of the groom talked about the time he drove across Europe with Colton. He also joked that Colton married out of his league. The father of the bride thanked everyone for coming and lead a prayer before dinner.

Favors were thank you mints in tin containers with the couple’s name, date of marriage and ‘thank you’ on it. Those with pictures to share could upload them to the couple’s Instagram hashtag. The night ended with a signature sparkler farewell.

Congratulations Lauren and Colton. May the beauty of your wedding day be reflected in the beauty of your love in all the years to come. We wish you the best.
