For Kasi and Matt’s wedding day, the groom wore a black tuxedo with white shirt and pink and white striped tie while Kasi wore a strapless gown with slight scalloped edging at the neckline while the fitted bodice glittered and sparkled with beaded detailing. The dress was fitted with slight mermaid flair at the bottom. Kasi’s hair was worn down. Attached to the ribbon around the bridal bouquet was a framed picture of the bride’s mother. Surrounding her throughout the day were Kasi’s bridesmaids in pale pink Grecian gowns with empire waists. All carried white rose bouquets. The groomsmen were dressed like the groom in black tuxedos.
As guests arrived at Villa Siena, they were greeted with a table covered with vintage records, along with a sign that had the couple’s name, and their important dates: the first day, the yes day and the best day. For the ceremony guests were invited to choose a seat, not a side, since they would all be each other’s family by the end of the day.
The wedding began with a boy carrying a sign saying Uncle Matt, here comes your bride. When the ceremony ended, the boy changed signs to one that read Let’s get this party started.
At the reception, candles illuminated centerpieces of floating roses. Kasi and Matt shared a couple’s table for the reception, which was decorated with jars of different sizes with crystal bottoms.
The wedding cake looked so scrumptious it was hard to wait until cake cutting time to sample it. The three-tiered cake was square with chocolate ganache dripping down each layer. Fresh flowers topped the cake.
Congratulations Kasi and Matt. May every day together feel like the first time you fell in love. We wish you the best.
