It’s not everyday Villa Siena hosts a Quinceanera, but let us tell you, Bianka Nicole Onofre sure knows how to throw one fantastic Quince! With the help of her Godparents, Art and Martha, they were able to create a fashionable, upbeat, and beautiful fiesta. The Quinceanera began with a traditional Spanish Catholic mass celebrating her transition from a girl to a young woman in our Chianciano Banquet Hall. Following the mass was a cocktail hour, where guests enjoyed delicious passed hor’dourves including Jamaican shrimp, tomato bruchetta, and chipotle chicken wontons. During cocktail hour guests were serenaded to by a traditional mariachi. With the great food and lively music, it was impossible not to have a wonderful time!
As the cocktail hour concluded, guests found their seating assignments by handmade miniature dresses on beautiful handmade gold racks. The price tag on the dress even indicated their table number followed by another miniature dress with guests name at each of their place settings! What a creative idea! Her Aunt was kind enough to sew 120 of these beautiful dresses. The style did not end with her table assignments; the birthday girl actually designed her dress herself! With a beautiful gown like this, we see a bright future for fashion design in her future! Not to mention, her cake was themed around issues of vogue, Louis Vuiton, pearls, and heels!
One of the most entertaining parts of the evening was the traditional waltz and modern dance the birthday girl and her court of honor prepared for their guests! This had the crowd smiling, laughing, and even shedding a few tears. Her Godparents and family members also shared many beautiful speeches honoring the woman Bianka has become and following their speeches picture slideshows were prepared by her Godparents as well. Bianka, friends, and family danced the rest of the night away!
