Tiffany & Dave ~ July 14, 2012

July 14, 2012 marked Tiffany and Dave’s wedding celebration. After their first date, no one would have guessed marriage would be in the stars for these two. According to Tiffany’s bridesmaid, the two met on St. Patrick’s Day, are polar opposites and the first date ended with Dave saying, “So…I’ll Facebook you or something.” While Dave doesn’t often win at board games or video games, he won the love of a woman he can share the rest of his life with.

The two arrived ready to begin their life as husband and wife. The bride’s long hair was left flowing down except for a few strands that were twisted together and tied in the back with fresh flowers. Her gown was a perfect fit for summer with a lace bodice with short sleeves. Layered detailing with lace came up to a conservative neckline, while the empire waist was defined by ribbon. Tiffany’s mermaid-style gown flowed out in larger lace patterns towards the floor. Her bridesmaids added a cheerful splash of color in teal floor-length maxi dresses. Each bridesmaid wore a different style brown belt and a different long necklace. The groom and groomsmen looked handsome in grey tuxedos with teal neckties.

The teal and golden colors carried into the reception with sunflowers, white hydrangeas and yellow snapdragons. Tables were adorned with a mix of tabletop and candelabra centerpieces, as well as a picture of the bride and groom.  The food was vegetarian with fruit, Caesar salads and penne pasta with broccoli. The sweetness that surrounded the wedding carried over into a dessert bar and candy station where guests could choose from m&m’s peppermints, skittles, jelly beans and more. The cake was a three-tiered delight with lace imprint and fresh sunflowers on top. Tiffany and Dave chose to smear cake onto each other’s faces, letting loose with some fun.

There was laughter and smiles throughout the day, especially when Tiffany & Dave danced to Ray Lamontagne’s You Are The Best Thing. The father/daughter dance followed with Garth Brook’s It’s Your Song. Dave and his mother danced to Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher. The couple looked forward receiving advice from friends and family. At their guest book signing, they had a bowl for guests to leave words of advice using one of three cards that read Marriage is like…., Always tell your spouse…, Love is like….

Tiffany and Dave’s love will only grow together. As they reflected on the slideshow of their childhoods and their relationship together, they knew they would be stronger people for having the person they loved by their side. With a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell, they hopped into their car that had been decorated by friends to read ‘Love Bug.’ Congratulations Tiffany & Dave. May you have a wonderful life together!
