Nickee & Kipp ~ February 24, 2013

February 24, 2013 welcomed Nickee and Kipp to Villa Siena for their wedding ceremony and reception. The couple initially met at work, but didn’t really get to know each other until they saw each other again during a night out.

Nickee looked like a princess in her gown with fitted bodice and sweetheart neckline. The ornate bodice finished in a V that flowed out into a tucked skirt that parted towards the bottom to reveal additional detailing. The back of the dress laced up corset-style. The bride wore a tiara and veil. The mother of the bride’s reaction to seeing her daughter for the first time in her wedding dress said it all. She burst into tears before a huge smile filled her face.

The bridesmaids wore brown knee-length dresses of individual styles. The bouquets combined stargazer lilies and a variety of pink and red roses.

Kipp stood as the handsome groom awaiting his bride in a black tuxedo with silver tie and vest. Before the ceremony, the two reached for each other around the corner of a door to hold hands before seeing each other officially at the wedding ceremony.  They lit a unity candle as part of their vows to live one life together. Flower petals filled the air during the recessional.

After the ceremony, the groom just had to show off his ring to his friends, in a great comic moment captured by the photographer. The photographer had as much spirit as the couple and caught another great moment of the groom carrying the bride’s train, following her into the reception.

The fun continued throughout the reception during an intimate dinner held in the Chianciano room. Pink bows were tied around the chairs. Instead of floral centerpieces, a candle burned on each table.

Rod Stewart’s The Way You Look Tonight marked the first dance.

The wedding cake offered three tiers with a blue ribbon and diamond brooch on the top tier, a pin-tucked second tier and the bottom tier finished with pink fondant bows around the edge. The interior of the cake was chocolate peanut butter, red velvet and chocolate chip cookie dough.

As the Villa Siena traditional sparkler farewell sent the couple off, a car decorated with ‘Happily Ever After’ pulled up to whisk them away. Congratulations Nikee and Kipp. May your happily ever after be all a fairytale can be.
