Fidelia & Brandon ~ April 7, 2013

19 couple

April 7, 2013 was a sunny, beautiful day for the marriage of Fidelia and Brandon. The couple met through a mutual friend. From there, their love expanded until they decided marriage was the next step in their journey together.

6 bride

On the wedding day, both bride and groom exuded happiness. A string quartet played
during the ceremony and throughout the cocktail hour.

7 bridesmaids

When Fidelia walked down the aisle, she wore a gown with fitted bodice to the waist and a full skirt. Soft white gauze roses served as shoulder straps. A white veil added contrast to the bride’s dark curls that fell around her face.

15 bouquet

For a bouquet, calla lilies and daisies were carried down the aisle. Fidelia’s bridesmaids accompanied her in knee-length dresses with cap sleeves with yellow rose bouquets.

12 ceremony

Brandon met his bride in a black tuxedo with silver striped tie and a yellow rose in his lapel.

9 groomsmen

The ceremony was a traditional ceremony, but concise. The couple’s first dance was to Frank Sinatra’s Fly Me to the Moon. Afterwards games were played throughout the reception including the shoe game, which is a great way for guests to participate and get to know the bride and groom a little better.

24 cake

The night ended with a wedding cake decorated with white fondant and fresh flowers.

21 favors

Favors were champagne flutes custom engraved with the wedding date for guests to toast with and remember the special occasion. Boxes filled with candy were also set at each place setting. The inscription on the outside of the box read ‘two souls with but a single thought, two hearts that beat as one.’
