November 29, 2013 brought Mark and Rosa together at Villa Siena for their wedding ceremony and reception.
Rosa wore a gown with sheer sleeves. The dress had beaded detailing throughout and a tulle skirt. The bride wore a tiara headband with veil. Her bouquet was filled with purple roses and calla lilies and greenery that cascaded down in abundance. While the bride and bridesmaids carried similar bouquets, only Rosa’s was embellished with butterflies of different colors. The bridesmaids wore brown knee-length dresses.
For the ceremony and reception, Mark wore a traditional black tuxedo with white shirt and tie and a pink rose in his lapel. The groomsmen had bronze vests and ties. During the ceremony, the couple’s mothers lit the taper candles for the unity candle ceremony. On top of the altar were framed pictures of the couple’s family with candles burning.
For the mother/son dance, Mark and his mother took to the dance floor, but halfway through the song, the bride joined them with the groom’s son. For the father/daughter dance, the same thing happened – halfway through the song the groom brought the bride’s daughter to the dance floor. The couple’s name shone in lights on the dance floor throughout the reception.
For dinner, the groom, bride and their children were all seated together. Everyone enjoyed the five-tiered cake with sparkly ribbon wrapped around 3 tiers and a Hello Kitty cake topper along with the couple’s monogrammed initials. The cake layers alternated curlicues and harlequin patterns.
Favors were heart stamps.
Congratulations Rosa and Mark. May your days be filled with soft butterfly kisses. We wish you the best.
