Dianna and Brian married at Villa Siena October 18, 2013. The couple brought warmth and gentleness to a day that spoke of their love for one another. The entry table was filled with pictures of close family on their wedding days, while votive candles burned. As guests were seated, the Urban Electra Band, a string quartet, played. Their music was enjoyed throughout the ceremony and into cocktail hour. Due to the season, a fire burned in the fireplace at the altar, while a floral arrangement and candles burned on top. With evening closing in, the lit candles and fire added a soft glow to the occasion.
Gold was chosen for the color scheme, accented beautifully by white hydrangeas and roses. As Dianna readied for her walk down the aisle, she donned a strapless wedding gown with scalloped lace edging. The dress was fitted to the waist and detailed in sequins. The pattern came to a subtle ‘v’ shaped waist, while the sequin detailing continued more sparingly throughout the skirt. The bride’s veil was attached to a headband. Dianne carried a bouquet of white roses. Her groom was distinguished in a black tuxedo with tails, a white vest and white bowtie. The couple chose an intimate bridal party, with the maid of honor in an ivory dress with halter top and the best man matching the groom in a tuxedo with tails and a white vest with bowtie.
Tables at the reception were graced with bouquets of white roses and greenery with candles burning around the flowers. The couple shared a sweetheart table laid with a gold and white patterned tablecloth. Long-stemmed wine glasses were accented with crystals to share a toast or two. Both the best man and maid of honor gave speeches.
The couple’s wedding cake alternated shapes for each of the four tiers with cascading fondant flowers overflowing from the cake. Below sat a ceramic Cinderella ready to dance with her Prince Charming. On the sweetheart table a crystal glass slipper sat atop a silver pedestal. God Gave Me You by Blake Shelton played for the couple’s first dance. Following that, Dianna and her father danced to I Loved Her First. Afterwards Brian and his mother took to the dance floor for Catch a Falling Star.
Congratulations Dianna and Brian. May your lives be filled with starlight and dreams come true. We wish you the best.
