January 18, 2015, Gilat and Seth were joined by friends and family at Villa Siena to celebrate their love. At the guest welcome table, those attending were encouraged to sign a guest book with pictures of the couple in it and flip through images that captured the couple’s relationship.

Gilat and Seth were as beautiful a couple as the symbol of the peacock they used throughout the ceremony. The couple consecrated their love with a Jewish ceremony, prayer of gratitude, personalized vows and more. The chuppah, or wedding awning, was hand painted by the bride and featured a beautiful scene of birds in a fruit-filled tree with a heart engraved in the bark and a bride and groom sitting under the tree.

For the wedding ceremony Gilat wore a white strapless wedding gown with lace detailing, a beaded belt, full skirt and a beaded veil. Crystal strappy shoes were worn. The bridal bouquet was filled with blush roses and gold leaf  and berry accents. The bridesmaids wore blue gowns and carried bouquets filled with blue hydrangeas and orchids, which were tied with blue satin ribbon. For the occasion, Seth wore a black tuxedo with black bowtie and wore a dendrobium orchid in his lapel.

During the reception, the celebration continued with food and dancing. The wedding cake was a work of art with a peacock sculpted on top with its tail feathers flowing down the tiers of the cake. Fresh fruit surrounded the cake.

A band played Lady in Red for the couple’s first dance together as husband and wife. The couple incorporated Jewish tradition into the reception. Favors were olive oil and vinegar in small gift boxes. A signature sparkler farewell lit up the night as the couple left for their new life together. Congratulations Gilat and Seth. May you be overwhelmed with love every day. We wish you the best.
