This is how our story begins read the sash that led down the aisle to where Tiara and Mike’s would be married March 30, 2015. For her grand entrance, Tiara wore a strapless lace wedding gown with sweetheart neckline and crystal belt. Tiara wore a tiara and veil with lace edging and accented the ensemble with pearls and diamonds. The bride carried a bouquet of bright pink and blush roses. Her bridesmaids wore blush dresses with rouching across the bodice and carried bouquets similar to the bride’s. For pictures Mike wore full military regalia but for the ceremony he changed to a grey tuxedo with ivory shirt and tie. His groomsmen wore grey tuxedos with blush ties and ivory shirts. Mike’s father served as officiant for the wedding and took part in the hand tying ceremony.
Guests were encouraged to leave advice for the newlyweds by filling out a card that started The key to a great marriage is… The key theme was used throughout the day as guests were given a key that indicated which table they would sit at. The welcome table was filled with framed pictures of the couple as well as a guest book. There was also a framed picture of the couple on a stand with the saying I have found the one whom my soul loves. Quotes decorated the dining tables with phrases like Did I tell you how divinely and utterly happy I am? And Elegances is the only beauty that never fades. For the reception Mike and Tiara sat at a couple’s table with a pink satin rose table cloth and silver glittery signs that said, Mr. & Mrs. The couple sipped champagne out of engraved champagne flutes.
No one enjoyed the day as much as the couple’s dog Bella who was not only part of the processional but was included in the entire day’s celebration.
Tiara and Mike’s first dance as husband and wife was to All of Me by John Legend. The couple’s choreographed dance led into other choreographed dances by Tiara and her father and the bridesmaids and groomsmen.
The wedding cake was a three-tiered cake with the first and third tiers boasting a ruffled rose design and a monogrammed middle layer. The cake was topped with fondant flowers. Favors were pillow mints and chocolate almonds. Congratulations Tiara and Mike. May you hold the key to each other’s hearts. We wish you the best.
