May 16, 2015 Kristin and Derrik were married by Derrik’s father at Villa Siena. For the wedding ceremony Kristin wore a white gown by David’s Bridal that was fitted through the hips with a bow on the side and had a beaded belt. Embroidered details marked the veil. The wedding bouquet was wrapped filled with roses and wrapped with crystals. Underneath her gown Kristin wore silver strappy shoes. Her bridesmaids wore deep forest green halter dresses. Derrik wore a black tuxedo with black bowtie, black cummerbund and a white rose in his lapel. At Derrik’s side was his best man, who was his roommate from Arizona State University and best friend for 17 years.
Before the ceremony Kristin read a letter from Derrik that brought tears to her eyes. For the ceremony the altar was decorated with crystal candleholders and orchids. As Kristin walked to her groom she walked down a white runner with white and purple petals edging the runner.
During the reception Kristin and Derrik sat at a couple’s table at the head of the room and enjoyed an intimate dinner with close family and friends. The wedding cake was three square tiers and had a white bow on the second tier with rhinestone ribbon on each tier and a rhinestone M as a topper. The vanilla cake was finished with buttercream frosting.
The couple’s first dance was to Still in Love I by Lionel Richie followed by a father & daughter dance to Daddy Dance With Me and then What a Wonderful World.
Favors were cork heart coasters and specialized wine corks. Congratulations Kristin and Derrik. May you fulfill all your dreams together. We wish you the best.
