Stephanie and Ryan were married June 5, 2015. For her wedding, the bride wore a silk Maggie Sottero gown. The dress was strapless with beaded detailing subtly used throughout and rouching on the side of the dress. The full skirt finished in a train. Stephanie personalized the look with a pearl necklace and veil sparkling with crystals. The bridal bouquet was filled with sunflowers and mini daisies. Stephanie’s bridesmaids wore royal blue dresses with lace and a keyhole opening the back. To marry his love, Ryan wore a black tuxedo with a white shirt, white vest and white bowtie. His groomsmen also wore black tuxedos but wore black vests and bowties. Each had a blue handkerchief and a yellow rose in their lapels.
Guests to the ceremony were greeted with a table bedecked in flowers with a card box and guest book.
As the ceremony began a prayer was given. Proverb 3-6 was read, which talked about purpose and putting your trust in the Lord. As part of the unity ceremony, the couple assembled a multi-piece sculpture of a cross that symbolized the two joining as one. The groom placed the outer cross in a wooden base before the bride placed a sculpted cross inside the outer cross. Above the altar the letters LOVE were displayed. Flower petals lined the aisles.
As the reception began the maid of honor gave a blessing. After the reception dinner, dancing commenced. Flip-flops in a basked were offered to the women as ‘dancing shoes.’ Paper flowers made from sheets of music decorated a framed picture of the couple.
The wedding cake was three square tiers of vanilla cake with raspberry filling. The cake was decorated with a pin-tuck design, wrapped with royal blue ribbon and finished with three sunflowers, one on each tier.
Congratulations Stephanie and Ryan. May your love and faith guide your forward in life. We wish you the best.
