Kat and Robbie married at Villa Siena June 6, 2015. The couple met at a birthday party in 2011 for Robbie’s nephew. Kat worked at the daycare where Robbie’s nephew attended. That first meeting sparked into love, especially after their first date.
As the wedding day arrived, guests were greeted at Villa Siena with a welcome table filled with pictures of the couple. As the wedding ceremony began a string quartet played. Robbie married his bride in a black tuxedo with a white shirt, vest and bowtie. His groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black bowties and black vests. Kat wore a lace gown with a beaded crystal belt and a veil edged in satin. A fascinator glittered in her hair. The bride’s bouquet was filled with pink roses and was tied with a satin ribbon and a diamond brooch. Amidst the flowers was a single diamond brooch. Her bridesmaids wore pale pink strapless gowns with rouching. All carried pink and white rose bouquets.
The altar was decorated in short and tall standing bouquets of flowers intermingled with candles. Paper wraps filled with flower petals hung from the aisle chairs to toss in the air after the couple was married. The aisle was also lined with floating candles.
As guests were seated they found a stone on their seats. Guests were to bless the stones with love and happiness before dropping them into a vase for the couple to keep. During the ceremony Kat and Robbie lit a unity candle.
The reception included red up-lighting and personalized champagne flutes for the bride and groom. One of the speeches included the maid of honor talking about how she and the bride convinced their 2nd grade teacher that they were sisters.
Each tier of the wedding cake had a different design, with a large white bow in the middle and a silver and crystal monogram on top. Congratulations Kat and Robbie. May your light and love continue to shine throughout your lives together. We wish you the best.
