Alexia & Ricardo ~ March 27, 2015

photo 3 (3)

Alexia and Ricardo fell in love at first sight during a graduation party in Mexico. Alexia knew immediately she wanted to marry Ricardo. March 27, 2015, Alexia’s dream came true. Ricardo proposed at a surprise picnic by singing of the couple’s journey together. He then gave her a set of nesting boxes. Inside the smallest was an engagement ring. After she said yes, they celebrated their engagement with a mariachi band and dancing all night long.

For her wedding day, the bride was gorgeous in a lace gown with a train and lace edging on her veil. Her hair was worn in an up-do and she carried a cascading bouquet of white roses, baby’s breath and greenery. Ricardo wore a black tuxedo with tails, a white vest and white shirt and tie for the occasion.

The couple married at a Catholic Church and had their reception at Villa Siena. As family and friends mingled outside in the courtyard, a string quartet played. Guests were invited to enjoy a photo booth to record memories of the night.

The groomsmen gave toasts in Spanish while the maid of honor expressed her love and thanks for Alexia who has shown her true friendship and support through the hardest of times. During her speech the maid of honor was surprised with a personalized cake and sparklers for her birthday.

Cake eating continued with the wedding cake that was frosted with buttercream and decorated with piping and gum paste flowers. A candy bar filled with silver and white candies was a further sweet enticement for guests. Favors were white boxes filled with Jordan Almonds that were tied off with white ribbon.
