When Kate was living by her work motto Make dreams come true and live happily ever after, she met Khadz. At the time Kate was working for the Disney College Program in Orlando Florida. Khadz was the photographer who took her headshot. He later proposed to her at the Princess Room in Walt Disney World.
For her wedding day, Kate looked like a princess in an Alfred Angelo strapless gown with pearl necklace. The bodice of the gown was beaded which then flowed into a full skirt with train finished with lace edging and sequins. The back of the dress was tied with a bow. To finish the look she chose a diamond headband with veil and carried a bouquet of purple orchids and white roses. Her bridesmaids were dressed in royal blue gowns with rouching across the top, rhinestone sides and peek-a-boo backs. Khadz wore a black tuxedo with black vest and tie. His groomsmen were also in black tuxedos with black vests but wore royal blue ties.
The ceremony began with I Do’s and was followed with prayers. The officiant, who has watched the bride grow up, spoke of how marriage is more than your wedding day or license. Marriage is everything else. Marriage is an adventure.
Due to the couple’s love of wine they asked guests to sign corks instead of a guestbook. Place cards for dinner were set in wine corks and champagne candles were arranged on each table for dinner. At the reception a chalkboard sign was displayed reading Our wedding has an open bar. It is also being heavily photographed so all drunken shenanigans will be well documented and thoroughly mocked for years to come. Proceed with caution.
A Beautiful Life by Justin James played for the couple’s first dance. Afterwards Kate danced with her father to I Loved Her First by Heartland. Kate’s father offered words of wisdom for the couple during speeches. The maid of honor spoke of how the couple lights up when they are together.
The wedding cake was a three-tiered red velvet cake and chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting. The cake was finished with fondant with each tier wrapped in royal blue ribbon and accented with flowers. Fresh flowers topped the cake. For a little extra sweetness Lindor Chocolates were handed out as favors.
The night ended with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Congratulations Kate & Khadz. May your lives be a fairytale wrapped in the magic of love. We wish you the best.
