Although Villa Siena is mostly known for hosting wedding celebrations, we welcome every type of celebration from baby showers to holiday parties and more. September 19, 2015 we were honored to host Ana’s Baby Shower. The day was filled with sunshine dappling through the leaves of the ivy around the Villa. Indoors, the venue was transformed with white and blue balloons and signs as friends and family gathered to celebrate the coming of Ana’s baby boy.
For the occasion, the mother-to-be wore her hair swept to the side with a grey dress that perfectly accented her baby bump before flowing to the ground. The father-to-be was dressed in dark blue pants, a blue button down and a yellow and blue checkered tie. The mother-to-be glowed with excitement throughout the day as she was surrounded by friends, family and well wishes, letting the baby know the warm, welcoming and loving atmosphere he is about to be born into.

No celebration is complete without some sweet treats and for this baby shower a one-tiered cake with white fondant and the word BABY in fondant was served, as were numerous cupcakes. Next to the cupcakes was a handmade chalkboard sign reading Baby, bundle of joy, little miracle, bun in the oven, sweet angel, pea in the pod. The truth is, those words don’t even come close to describing the type of love that a baby brings to a couple’s life.
Favors for guests were wrapped in burlap sacks with blue ribbon. Congratulations Ana. May your baby be the light of your life. We wish you the best.
