Addison and Christian’s Dreamy Green Wedding
When Addison and Christian were married back in March, they wanted to have a beautiful spring wedding brimming with color, joy, and personality. We were happy to help them bring this lovely vision to life, and we think their big day was all that and more.
The couple opted for a springy green color palette for the wedding party. The bridesmaids wore long green dresses in assorted styles, while Christian and his groomsmen looked sharp in their gray suits and green ties. And along with green, everyone had a colorful array of flowers in their bouquets or boutonnieres, which added pops of purple, orange, pink, and blue to their looks.
The wedding took place outside in our Plaza Toscana, which was decorated with colorful florals and white candles. Everyone was awed by the lovely setup — but they were even more in awe when our bride came walking down the aisle. Addison looked like a princess in her lacy, trumpet-style dress and long veil. And best of all, her bright smile showed everyone just how happy she was to be marrying the love of her life.
During the ceremony, Addison and Christian shared vows they wrote themselves, exchanged rings, and lit a unity candle to signify their new life together. Then, it was time for the new Mr. and Mrs. to treat their guests to a delightful reception filled with dinner, dancing, and fun!
Once guests moved inside and signed the “guest book” (individual Jenga pieces), they settled in for a delicious meal of salad, champagne and apricot pork tenderloin, beef tenderloin, potato wedges, vodka penne pasta, and roasted carrots. For dessert, there was a three-tiered cake (topped with a Lego topper that resembled the bride and groom). And once guests had eaten their fill, there was plenty of time for dancing, mingling, and a spectacular sparkler exit!
Addison and Christian’s wedding was a beautiful day that showed off the bride and groom’s personalities — but most importantly, it was a celebration of how much they love each other.
