Alex & Alex ~ June 12, 2016

Alex and Alex met at a rock climbing gym, and made it to the top of the world when they were married on Sunday, June 12, 2016.

Alex modeled an Allure wedding gown with a laced illusion neckline, complete with a trumpeted skirt, train, and button-fastened back. A gold band belted Alex at the waist, and she held a posy bouquet of soft pink and white roses. Her four bridesmaids were also adorned in lace-textured gowns, theirs sleeveless and blush in color.

Alex the groom donned a gray, three-piece suit, complete with a white dress shirt and necktie, plus a pocket square and small bundle of roses adorning his lapel. His four groomsmen matched his attire.

Their sunny outdoor ceremony was held at the end of a plush white carpet. The officiant expressed touching words written by Alex and Alex for both their mothers, and then shared the bride and groom’s vows. The message was they will love and respect each other always, and they then watered an aloe vera plant together – which symbolized a Unity Tree.

Dinner followed of mixed greens with pomegranate seeds, goat cheese, and assorted fruits. Entrees consisted of salmon with beurre blanc sauce and chicken stuffed with prosciutto, both sided with ginger glazed carrots and butternut squash ravioli, which was served to the bride and groom at their Sweetheart Table.

The three-tiered wedding cake came in white detailed frosting with a row of white roses, and a Disney-themed silhouette topper. The top layer was adorned with “A².”

During toasts, the Maid of Honor talked about her friendship with the bride, and how happy she is for both of them. The bride and groom also thanked everyone for coming.

Alex and Alex’s First Dance was to Lee Brice’s “I Don’t Dance.” A Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance followed this during the reception.

We wish all the best to A²!
