Ali and Corbin, who met in a college English class, wrote the next chapter of their love story when they married on March 12, 2021.
Ali dazzled in a sophisticated sleeveless trumpet gown with spaghetti straps, a deep V neckline, appliqued overlay, and a train. Her accessories included a necklace with a leaf motif, drop earrings, and a full-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of an assortment of blooms in shades of red, pink, and white with additional greenery. Her five bridesmaids wore coordinating full-length lavender dresses and carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Corbin wore a dark blue suit with a white shirt, blue patterned tie, white pocket square, and mini bouquet boutonniere. His five groomsmen wore dark blue suits with white shirts, lavender ties, and mini bouquet boutonnieres.
During the ceremony, the officiant told the story of how the couple met and of their engagement. A string quartet performed.
Next, guests sat down to a meal of classic Caesar salad with a Parmesan crisp; filet mignon with a Burgundy Bordelaise sauce and mushroom duxelles; grilled boneless chicken breast with lemon beurre sauce, filled with prosciutto and provolone cheese; creamy mashed potatoes; and assorted grilled vegetables.
The wedding favors were little soaps.
In the speeches, the best man, the groom’s brother, gave a speech. The maid of honor talked about how important Ali’s friendship was to her. The matron of honor spoke about how she knew Corbin was the one for Ali. Ali’s father wished the couple a lifetime of happiness.
There were a number of special dances: Ali and her father danced together, Corbin shared a dance with his mother, and there was an anniversary dance.
The three-tier white wedding cake was done with a brushed frosting design and adorned with flowers.
We wish the happy couple all the best in their beautiful new life together!
