Baby pink, white and gold marked the color scheme of Allison and Jeff’s wedding – perfect for a March celebration. The couple was introduced at Starbucks where Jeff was the barista. Allison asked, “You love Jesus?” When he responded “Heck, ya I do!” the rest was history. There first meeting was remembered during the wedding with an antique mirror that had written on it, I never knew just what it was about this old coffee shop that I loved so much.
Jeff made for a handsome groom in a grey tuxedo with silver vest, white shirt and black bowtie. Jeff’s ten groomsmen also wore grey tuxedos. The bridesmaids wore pale pink strapless gowns with flowing empire waists and rouching across the top. Allison definitely stole the show when she made her grand entrance in a fitted wedding gown with mermaid flair at the bottom and cap sleeves. The lace gown was finished with covered buttons down the back and a diamond belt at the waist. Three-tier diamond and pearl earrings brought elegance to the ensemble, as did the bride’s veil, which was finished with floral embroidery. The bride’s bouquet combined white roses and baby’s breath.
The wedding began with a sign reading, Uncle Jeff, here comes your bride. The flower girl made a picturesque entrance with a tutu dress with pink straps and a headband adorned with a flower. As part of the ceremony, everyone prayed before the communion was given while a band played with one of the groomsmen on guitar.
The Martin Martini was offered as a signature drink for guests during cocktail hour. For the reception the bride and groom shared a sweetheart table, which was decorated with white candles and gold candleholders. The letter M hung from the table. The couple’s wedding cake was a five-tier white fondant cake with gold accents and rose décor.
During speeches, the best man talked about how Jeff’s mom would be proud of him if she were still alive today. The maid of honor gave tribute to the bride by telling Allison that she is the sister she never had. Allison met her maid of honor as a child when the two fought over a gumball.
Favors were coffee beans that came in pale pink sachets with a card saying Love is: the perfect blend. Congratulations Allison and Jeff. We hope your life together is the ever after you always dreamed of. We wish you the best.
