October 30, 2015 Allison and Zachary celebrated a Halloween themed wedding at Villa Siena. The couple started dating when they were 16 years old.
Those wanting to leave cards for the bride and groom were directed to a large garbage truck model card box on the reception table that had been a family tradition of the bride’s family for past weddings.
For the ceremony Allison wore a beautiful white ball gown with a black damask pattern and a silver headband in her hair. Her bridesmaids wore different styles of black dresses. Zachary wore a black tuxedo with black shirt and black tie while his groomsmen wore black tuxedos with white shirts and black ties. As part of the wedding, a rose ceremony was given to honor the mothers of the bride and groom.
During the reception a mariachi band played. The best man told the groom during speeches that no one fits him better than Allison while the maid of honor wished her sister love and good wishes. The sister of the groom told the couple they have set her standards for love incredibly high.
Their first dance as husband and wife was to Easy Living by Billie Holiday followed by the father & daughter dance to Reflections by Marmalade and the mother & son dance to Unforgettable by Nat King Cole.
In keeping with the Halloween theme, the couple’s wedding cake featured three tiers of pumpkin spice flavored cake covered in white fondant with black chocolate ganache drip, orange and black buttercream roses and black spider webs. The cake had day of the dead cake toppers.
Favors were caramel apples with ‘love is sweet’ tags. They also had personalized chocolate bars and mints on the tables at the reception with a label reading LOVE – Zach & Allison and the date of marriage.
Congratulations Allison and Zachary. May all the beauty of marriage be caught in the web of your love. We wish you the best.
