Amanda & Dylan ~ December 30, 2015

Military-Baseball-Wedding-Villa-Siena (26)For Amanda and Dylan’s wedding December 30th, 2015 the groom dressed in full military uniform. His bride, Amanda, wore a lace gown with beading and an A-line skirt, which was finished with scalloped edges. She wore a blusher veil with lace edging and her hair was worn in a partial up-do. Her bouquet brought together blue snapdragons and white roses.

The flower girl, in a navy silk dress, began the ceremony as she sprinkled petals down the aisle on her way the altar. The altar itself was decorated with greenery, a cross and an angel. The wedding party consisted of a best man and maid of honor –  the two people closest to the couple.

The groom’s ring had pounded black metal, while the bride’s wedding ring was a diamond encircled by smaller diamonds. During the reception, guests were asked to sign a wooden plaque that read Love Lives Here. After the ceremony, toasts were given as the bride and groom sipped out of champagne flutes where one was decorated with a tuxedo bowtie and the other with a lace garter.

Table numbers were framed in blue and silver and centerpieces varied from blue and white floral arrangements, to floating candles in vases filled with hydrangeas. Favors were at each place setting and were given in small boxes sealed with a With Love sticker.

Besides the wedding cake there was also a groom’s cake in the shape of a New York Yankee’s baseball. The traditional wedding cake was three tiers and was coated in sugar with navy ribbon tied around each tier. Snowflakes cascaded down the side of the cake. The cake topper was a pair of Army boots and a pair of Ugg boots with a crystal snowflake.

Congratulations Amanda and Dylan. May your wedding mark the start of the best years of your lives. We wish you the best.
