Blair and Amber, who met on Match.com, became man and wife on January 21, 2019.
Amber looked gorgeous in a strapless ballgown with a sweetheart neckline, deep V back, and lace bodice trailing down to a full embellished skirt with a train. Her accessories included small drop earrings. Her bouquet was composed of ivory colored-roses tied with a white ribbon. Her four bridesmaids wore full-length wine-colored gowns with embroidered halter-neck bodices. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Blair wore a dark blue tuxedo with a matching vest, white shirt, dark blue bow tie, and white pocket square. His four groomsmen wore dark blue suits with matching vests and ties, white shirts, and dark blue pocket squares.
During the ceremony, the officiant used the metaphor of a tree to explain how a relationship should be grown and nurtured. Amber and Blair then potted a small tree together to represent the family they would create, and both of their mothers watered it.
The welcome table was decorated with candles and photos, and guests were invited to sign a book of photos of the couple.
In the toasts, the groom’s brother joked about how Blair has been stealing his thunder since day one. The bride’s sister remarked on how happy Blair makes Amber.
Amber and Blair’s first dance was to “Simple” by Florida Georgia Line. Amber and her father, along with Blair and his mother, all danced to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts.
Guests chose from vanilla or red velvet cupcakes. The newlyweds cut a small white red velvet cake.
Amber and Blair left under the signature sparkler send-off.
We wish the all the best in their beautiful new life together!
