Angela & Eric ~ June 15, 2013

After a wedding ceremony at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Angela and Eric celebrated their new roles as husband and wife at Villa Siena June 15, 2013.

Mutual friends introduced the two. Family and friends play such an important role in the couple’s life that they flew from all over the United States and even Italy to see the couple wed.

The couple glowed throughout the day with Angels in a strapless gown with rouching and beaded detail that wove through the skirt of the dress. A diamond necklace couldn’t compete with the sparkle in Angela’s eyes. The bride wore a tiara and veil that flowed out around the train of the dress. Eric, the perfect match for his bride, wore a grey tuxedo with white shirt and tie. For the occasion, even their dog dressed up with a bowtie.

In the formal tradition of weddings, the couple entertained guests with a cocktail hour while the bridal party took pictures. The couple cemented their long-term commitment to one another with a sign reading ‘Mr. & Mrs. Galante. Established June 15, 2013.’ Guests were then invited down to the ballroom where the bride and groom had a receiving line. Hand blown glass wine stoppers were passed out as favors.

Emerson Drive’s Belongs to You was the first dance followed by a brother/sister dance to Rascall Flats’ My Wish then the mother/son A Song for Mama by Boys II Men.

Speeches were incredibly touching and included the groom’s cousin and best man saying, “Eric is the most loving, compassionate person I know.” The matron of honor brought smiles as she recounted how she and the bride started the I Hate Boys Club together twice, before welcoming Eric to the family. Eric’s sister offered sage advice by saying ‘marriage is never 50/50 it’s always 100%.”

Purple orchids and lavender roses decorated the villa from bouquets to centerpieces to the wedding cake, which offered three tiers topped with flowers and a crystal monogrammed G. An Italian pastry & dessert station brought high praise, especially for the cannolis.  Jordan almonds and ornate wine stoppers were sent home with guests as additional favors.

Congratulations Angle and Eric! May your smiles light up your lives through the years to come.
