They met while rock climbing with a group of friends, and on January 14, 2017, Angie and Stephen reached new heights together by becoming man and wife.
Angie wore a stunning ball gown-style dress from A Closet Full of Dresses with a full tulle skirt and a lace bodice with elbow-length sleeves, and a hip-length veil. Her large bouquet included varieties of white flowers along with eucalyptus and other botanical accents. Stephen stepped up to the altar in a dark gray suit with a subtle check pattern and a plaid tie in shades of gray.
Guests wrote down their best advice for the newlyweds, and added their thumbprints to a piece of custom art designed by Angie’s brother before sitting down to a pasta buffet dinner that included cheese tortellini, chicken, sauteed mushrooms, and Italian meatballs. After the main course, attendees were free to check out the Italian soda bar, the s’mores bar, the hot chocolate bar, and the caramel apple bar.
A sense of fun imbued the whole reception: Angie and Stephen wore light-up shoes with their formalwear, and instead of a first dance, they hit a silver heart pinata until glowsticks poured out. There was a prize raffle for the guests, and a caricaturist commemorated the day.
Angie and Stephen cut their cake, a multi-flavor creation in white with blue decorations, before leaving the reception with a signature sparkler send-off.
We wish Angie and Stephen all the best in their new life together!
