Annalise & Alec ~ April 14, 2017

Alec and Annalise were married on April 14, 2017.

Annalise looked lovely in a fit-and-flare gown with crochet design and spaghetti straps. Her accessories included stud earrings, a lariat necklace, and pale blue high heels. Her bouquet included flowers in blue, white, and red accented with greenery elements. Her five bridesmaids wore individual gowns in tones of plum, sage, pink, blush, and light blue, and carried small bouquets of white flowers.

Alec wore a blue suit with a gray tie and a boutonniere composed of several different flowers. His five groomsmen wore gray suits with blue bow ties and similar boutonnieres to the groom’s.

At the start of the ceremony, Alec carried their young son down the aisle. Annalise and Alec lit a unity candle to symbolize their marriage and read their own vows. The officiant encouraged them to remember that in marriage, the little things are important.

Inside at the reception, guests dined on salad, salmon, short ribs, steamed vegetables, and potatoes.

During the speeches, the maid of honor, Annalise’s sister, said how proud she was of her. The best man, Alec’s younger brother, joked about the rivalry they had when they were younger and said that he could definitely feel the love in the room. Annalise’s father thanked the guests for coming and told childhood stories about her.

Alec and Annalise shared their first dance as a married couple to “Love on the Brain” by Rihanna, and danced with their son to “From the Ground Up” by Dan + Shay. Annalise and her father danced to “I Loved Her First” by Heartland, and Alec and his mother danced to “Mother of Mine.”

The three-tiered naked wedding cake was topped by white and red roses.

We wish Annalise and Alec nothing but the best in the years to come!
