Ashlee & Peter ~ October 18, 2015

Fable - Peter & Ashlee 20-X2Ashlee & Peter celebrated their wedding day October 18, 2015 with a Hollywood Lakers theme and Hollywood glamour theme that showcased the colors purple and gold and brought in carnations and roses. The couple originally met at West Gate while Peter was in town for work. He needed an apartment to stay in and found out Ashlee was in property management so the two exchanged numbers.

Ashlee was dressed in a strapless gown with lace and ruffles at the bottom. She chose a full-length veil and a pearl necklace to finish the look. The bridal bouquet brought together assorted purple and violet flowers interspersed with a few white roses. Her bridesmaids were dressed in different styles of gold and gold sequined dresses. Peter went for a classic look with a black tuxedo, a white shirt and vest and tie while his groomsmen wore black tuxedos with purple vests and purple ties.

During the ceremony the officiant spoke of CSI, Christ, Serve, Insufficient. The couple had a hand fastening ceremony and jumped the broom.

To kick off the reception, the couple had a grand entrance that resembled a sporting game. Before dinner, Ashlee’s grandmother gave a blessing. Purple up-lighting personalized the reception space as did purple table cloths.

Speeches included the best man talking about how the groom loves his bride even more than the Lakers. The maid of honor mentioned how she was looking forward to celebrating Korean holidays together with Ashlee.

The song for the couple’s first dance was to Shania Twain’s From This Moment On followed by the father & daughter dance to  Love & Happiness by Emmy Lou, then the mother & son dance to Footprints in the Sand and finally a mother & daughter dance to You Gotta Be. When the garter toss took place, there was no surprise that the bride’s garter had the Lakers logo on it.

To continue the Lakers theme, the wedding cake was four tiers finished with a shimmery gold frosting, wrapped with purple ribbon and decorated with purple flowers. The cake topper was a silhouette of a bride kissing her groom with a dog pawing at the groom and another dog sitting nearby watching. The night ended with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Congratulations Ashlee & Peter. May your tenderness towards one another carry you through all the days of your lives. We wish you the best.
