A Tropical Wedding For Ashley and CW
Ashley and CW have the kind of love that deserves to be celebrated — which is why, despite getting married in Costa Rica earlier this year, they decided to have a second ceremony with all their nearest and dearest!
Ashley was beautiful in a beaded v-neck ball gown with a tiered ruffle skirt. She carried a bouquet of birds of paradise, orchids, and other tropical flowers (a nod to their Costa Rican ceremony). CW looked sharp in a grey suit with a pink tie, and his son (the groomsman/ring bearer) dressed to match while his daughter (Ashley’s bridesmaid) looked lovely in a hot pink gown. But of course, the most beautiful accessory on any member of the wedding party was their big, beautiful smile!
During the ceremony, Ashley and CW were sure to include CW’s children in all the festivities. All four of them participated in a sand ceremony, and Ashley and CW both said special vows to their little ones. It was a beautiful display of a brand new blended family, and it warmed everyone’s hearts.
After the “I dos,” it was time for dinner and dancing. The couple of the hour shared a first dance to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri, and the children joined them for the second half of the song.
Guests enjoyed a dinner of: salad (romaine lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, black beans, cilantro, cheddar cheese, corn strips, and spicy chipotle vinaigrette); herb roasted red potatoes; creamy parmesan risotto; grilled chicken in a chipotle glaze with pineapple, peach, and mango salsa; and flat iron steak with green chimichurri sauce. After eating, guests hit the dance floor or took photos in the photobooth, clearly enjoying the opportunity to celebrate Ashley and CW.
This tropical-themed wedding was a bright and vibrant celebration, and it certainly put a smile on everyone’s faces.
