Becky and Adam met four years ago at Becky’s cousin’s 30th birthday party in Seattle at a bar called Chopstix Piano. September 18, 2015 they were wed at Villa Siena. Guests were welcomed to the ceremony with a table filled with pictures of the couple and framed signs.
Floral arrangements decorated the altar as guests were seated and the groom and groomsmen took their place. Becky made for a radiant bride. Her gown came from Almond Tree Wedding Boutique and was a classically simple white gown with a heart-shaped neckline and mermaid flair. The bride wore her hair down with a blusher veil attached. For her bouquet she carried white roses and peonies with white buds peeking out. Her bridesmaids wore mint green floor-length gowns that came from David’s Bridal. Underneath their dresses, Becky and her bridesmaids wore TOMS shoes to support an organization that gives the gift of shoes, sight, water, safe birth and bully prevention services in over 70 countries around the world. To marry Becky, Adam was dressed in a grey tuxedo with grey vest and black bowtie while his groomsmen wore grey tuxedos with black ties. All wore socks representing his favored sports team.
Serving as the officiant was one of the groom’s friend. The couple wore a declaration of intent for friends and family and also wrote their own vows. Their children were invited to partake in a sand ceremony with them. To keep the children and adults entertained after the ceremony, there were a series of games to play including a ring toss, cornhole game and wedding pong.
Speeches included the best man talking about how this occasion was the first time Adam would admit Scott is the ‘best’ at anything. The maid of honor teared up as she spoke of how happy she was that Becky found the love and support she deserves.
For dessert was a three tiered vanilla and chocolate wedding cake. The cake was finished with a ruffle design and adorned with fresh flowers. The cake topper was made of wire and had the letters A & B with a heart between them and an arrow running through.
Congratulations Becky and Adam. We are so happy you found the love, kindness and generosity in each other that you both deserve. We wish you the best.
