June 7, 2013, Bridjette and Mike married at Villa Siena. The couple met when Mike was looking for a house. Bridjette was a real estate agent and after the two met Bridjette’s friends in the office set them up on a date. The rest was history.
For the wedding the groom wore a grey tuxedo with satin piping, a white vest and tie and white shirt. Mike wore a calla lily in his lapel. Standing up with the groom were his friends who also wore dark grey tuxedos. Half wore coral ties and half wore black ties.
The bride’s exuberance during the day was unforgettable. Her energy, her smile and her happiness were contagious. As her bridesmaid Lindsie said, Bridjette has the perfect balance of patience and determination. The bride’s dress was strapless with a ruffled mermaid flair below the hips. Her bridesmaids added a bright splash of color to the day in coral knee-length dresses. The maid of honor wore a coral dress with a single strap and an A-line skirt.
For the program and the seating chart, the couple had poster-sized pictures of themselves in playful poses with information incorporated into the design.
Their love and joy was evident, as they couldn’t wait until the ceremony to sneak a kiss. From around the corner Mike took Bridgette’s hand and gave it a sweet kiss without seeing his bride.
During the ceremony, the bride teared up. They performed a sand ceremony with Mike’s daughter.
For the first dance, the couple took to the dance floor to Lady Antebellum’s When You Have a Good Thing. The father/daughter dance followed to I Loved Her First, then Mike and his mother finished with Through the Years by Kenny Rogers.
Guests were given silver heart-shaped wine bottle stoppers as favors. Cake was a three-tiered affair with frosting in ruffled layers and fresh flowers on top. The night ended with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell.
Congratulations Mike and Bridjette. May you both always remain enthusiastic about life and love as you were on your wedding day.
