Brittany & Grant ~ September 22, 2017

Brittany and Grant, who met at a party, were married on September 22, 2017.

Brittany looked lovely in a ballgown-style dress that featured a lace bodice with cap sleeves and a deep V-neckline, crystal belt, and full skirt with train. Her accessories included stud earrings and a hip-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of several types of white flowers, thistles, and assorted greenery elements. Brittany’s maid of honor wore a full-length gray dress with heavy beading and spaghetti straps. Her bridesman wore gray trousers and a gray vest, light blue shirt and bow tie, and a succulent boutonniere. Her three other bridesmaids wore individual full-length dresses in shades of blue. The maid of honor and the bridesmaids carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.

Grant wore a light gray suit with a light pink tie, light pink pocket square, and succulent boutonniere. His five groomsmen wore gray suits with light blue ties and succulent boutonnieres.

During the ceremony, Grant and Brittany read vows they wrote for each other.

At the reception, guests dined on a green salad with walnuts and raspberry vinaigrett, grilled chicken filled with prosciutto and provolone cheese, braised beef short ribs, twice-baked potatoes, and tortellini with Alfredo sauce.

In the speeches, the best man, Grant’s friend of 15 years, said that Grant is like a brother to him. Brittany’s maid of honor, her sister, told the guests how Brittany flew out to Los Angeles to ask her to be maid of honor. Grant’s father talked about the first time Grant brought Brittany home to meet his family. Brittany’s father told the newlyweds about the importance of communicating in a marriage.

Brittany and Grant danced their first dance together as a married couple to “Never Stop.” Brittany and her father and Grant and his mother danced to “Have I Told You Lately” by Van Morrison.

The three-tiered wedding cake had a hexagon-shaped bottom layer with geometric detail. The top two layers were white, round, and decorated with a gray brushstroke design. The cake was topped with a “Mr. and Mrs.” piece.

Brittany and Grant left their wedding under the signature sparkler send-off.

We wish them happiness and joy in all they do together!
