High school sweethearts Brooklyn and Tanner tied the knot on March 4, 2017.
Brooklyn chose a gorgeous fit-and-flare lace Kenneth Winston gown with spaghetti straps, a sweetheart neckline, and beaded belt. She accessorized with a drop-pendant necklace, drop earrings, and shoes with embellished heels. Her bouquet was composed of flowers in shades of ivory, lavender, and violet. Her seven bridesmaids wore floor-length plum-colored gowns in sleeveless, strapless, and one-shoulder silhouettes. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Tanner dressed to impress in a classic three-piece tuxedo with white pocket square and white rose boutonniere. His six groomsmen wore gray suits with plum-colored bow ties and pocket squares, and white rose boutonnieres. The gentlemen each wore socks pertaining to a different superhero.
Brooklyn walked down an aisle lined with ivory- and lavender-colored rose petals to meet her groom. Tanner’s best man, Casey, performed the ceremony. The couple recited to each other vows they wrote themselves.
During the toasts, Casey told the guests that Tanner is the nicest person he’s ever met. Brooklyn’s maid of honor, her sister Mikayla, joked that she wanted to write a song for the wedding, but that telling stories during the toasts was plan B.
Tanner and Brooklyn danced together for the first time as a married couple to “I’ll Never Get Used to You” while bubbles floated around them. Brooklyn and her stepdad danced to “Don’t Blink” by Kenny Chesney, and Brooklyn’s father sang “What a Wonderful World.” Tanner and his mom danced to “Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
The newlyweds cut the cake, a four-tiered white cake with fondant details decorated with white and purple flowers, then left the wedding under the signature sparkler send-off. They honeymooned in the Dominican Republic.
We hope Brooklyn and Tanner share a wonderful, loving life together!
