Derek and Calla became man and wife on October 2, 2020.
Calla dazzled in a romantic fit-and-flare lace gown with a V neckline, lace bodice, long lace illusion sleeves, and a train. Her accessories included a Y-shaped necklace and a hip-length veil.
Derek wore a light blue suit with a white shirt and a patterned tie.
The bride’s uncle performed the ceremony; he reminded the newlyweds that they are a team now: “me becomes we, I becomes us,” he told them.
Next, guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, then a meal of spring mix salad, twice-baked potatoes, penne with vodka sauce, chicken marsala, and herb-crusted pork loin.
Calla and Derek had their first dance to “Speechless” by Dan + Shay.
The three-tier white wedding cake was decorated with a watercolor design down the the front.
The newlyweds left their special day under the signature sparkler exit.
