Cameron & Ryan ~ December 19, 2013

Cameron and Ryan met at track practice in high school. Their romance continued to grow until they were married at Villa Siena December 18, 2013.  The bride and bridesmaids showed their spunk by wearing cowgirl boots throughout the wedding ceremony and reception. The cowboy theme continued with cowboy boots filled with flowers for the celebration.

For her marriage, Cameron wore a strapless gown with rouching across the bust and a ruffled tulle skirt with beaded belt. Her hair was pulled back in two braids at the front. A layered turquoise necklace accented the dress. The ensemble was finished with a white veil and a bouquet of white and mint green hydrangeas. Bridesmaids wore varying styles of black dresses with lace, finished by bouquets of white flowers.

Not to be outdone, under black tuxedos, the groomsmen wore superhero shirts, which the bridesmaids unveiled after the ceremony.

During the ceremony the couple had a Ukrainian bread and salt ceremony. The bread represented nature’s bounty while the salt represented the necessity of life. Bride and groom dipped the bread in the salt and ate it.

At the reception, a photo booth allowed for some candid photographs of the guests. To keep with the superhero theme, the cake appeared to be a traditional cake of four tiers with fondant flowers cascading down the edge, but on closer inspection, a small superhero could be found crawling out from under one corner of the cake.

For the first dance, the couple chose Miley Cyrus’ When I Look At You.

Favors were horseshoes and cowboy boot ornaments.

Congratulations Cameron and Ryan. May your wedding be filled with cowboy spirit and the strength of a million superheroes. We wish you the best.
