Chantel & Josh ~ November 13, 2014

You can tell a lot about a couple by what their friends say about them. When Chantel and Josh were married November 13, 2014 the best man told guests that Josh had never been happier and that Josh’s mom would now have the daughter she always wanted. The Matron of Honor exclaimed how happy and excited she was to be a part of the couple’s “Dream come true.”

Yellow and blue, the sun and the sky, were the colors chosen to as the color scheme for the day. Tulips and roses appeared creating a spring like effect in November. As guests arrived for the wedding ceremony, guests were given a quilt to sign instead of a traditional guestbook.

Chantel turned heads as she walked down the aisle in a timeless fitted lace gown with thin straps by David’s Bridal. A headband stood in place of the traditional veil. Under her gown were silver strappy shoes. Her bridesmaids wore strapless turquoise gowns. While the bride carried a bouquet of white tulips her bridesmaids carried bouquets of yellow tulips. The groomsmen matched the bridesmaids in black tuxedos with turquoise vests and ties while Josh wore a black tuxedo with white shirt, tie and vest. The couple shared a private moment before the ceremony as they held hands without looking at each other. During the ceremony turquoise and yellow sands were poured into a glass jar that was held in a wrought iron stand to signify their union.

During the reception the newlyweds sipped out of champagne flutes with a silver base and two diamond hearts intertwined. After a few moments of celebration, the couple took to the dance floor for a traditional first dance to I Don’t Dance by Lee Brice.

The wedding cake was a three-tiered square cake that was reminiscent of a Tiffany’s box. Each tier was wrapped with a white fondant ribbon. The first and third tiers were decorated with a subtle floral pattern while fresh yellow and white tulips finished the look. Favors were bottles of bubbles and bags of Swedish fish with a card that read Two less fish in the sea.

Congratulations Chantel and Josh. The sea may be at a loss for losing the two of you, but Cupid is surely celebrating. We wish you the best.
