A Far-Out Kind of Love
Here at Villa Siena, we are lucky enough to play a role in many couples’ love stories. Sometimes, we’re there for their wedding,helping them start this exciting new chapter in their lives. But for others, we get to host their anniversary party — celebrating the many years of love they’ve already shared.
Cherri and Jim’s anniversary party was a perfect celebration of 45 years filled with love and laughter, and we were so happy to be a part of it! This couple, who met years ago as students at ASU, chose the groovy 1970’s as their theme — and the colorful tie dye they used to decorate the tables and photo wall added a new level of vibrance to our ballroom. The room was also decorated with colorful drip candles, movie posters from the 70’s,and pet rocks and moods rings for the guests to take home.
Cherri and Jim even got into the theme; they made their grand entrance in black slacks and matching tie dye vests (complete with hand made tie dye shoes)! The couple danced to Neil Diamond’s “Blue Jeans”before grabbing a plate for a very 1970’s dinner: a fondue station with meat, veggies, and cheese!
One of our favorite parts of this far-out anniversary party was the photo wall and memory book Cherri and Jim left out for guests to admire. The pictures they displayed really did encapsulate over four decades of peace, love, and happiness, and we were so honored to play a role in their beautiful love story. Congratulations to the happy couple —here’s to another 45!
